So here is a post since it has been a really long time since I have posted anything. I have been a little busy moving. So here goes.

How long have you been together? Four years this past April.

How long did you date? About 8 months, but Brock and I had been friends for many years before we decided to date.

How old are you? 26

Who eats more? Brock

Who said I love you first? Brock

Who is taller? Brock hands down.

Who is smarter? Brock so lets hope are kids get his brains.

Who does the laundry? Brock did until just recently. Now that we are in Utah I will.

Who does more dishes? Brock I hate dishes.

Who pays the bills? Brock that gives me anxiety.

Who mows the lawn? Who knows we'll wait to see when we have a lawn.

Who cooks? Me most of the time, but if Brock's home he helps.

Who drives when you are together? Brock

Who is more stubborn? I will say me, because I know Brock would say me.

Who has more siblings? Brock 1 brother, 4 sisters.

Who wears the pants in the family? both of us. It just depends on what it is.

The Face Fountain

We had a beautiful day on Tuesday. It was close to 80 degrees. I had a friend ask me to go downtown so that the kids could play in the fountain. I wasn't sure if Lily would like it but just see for yourself.

Moving to Utah!

We are moving back to Utah. I thought this might be a good way to get the word out. Brock is going to finish law school at either the University of Utah or BYU. He applied to be a visiting student and it was approved. That just means that he will attend classes there, but will still graduate from the University of Chicago.

The thing is we just found out a week ago and have to be out of our apartment by May 31st. So needless to say we have been trying to finalize all of our plans. It also means that we are having a lot of visitors. Which is fun.

We really love the friends that we have made in Chicago and are sad to leave. But we are looking forward to being close to family.

(Almost) Spring in Chicago

It has been so long since I have posted anything. But finally I have something to post. After being trapped inside for the 5 months of winter, Lily was sure excited to go to the park. Now the only way to keep her happy is to take her outside everyday. Thank heavens the weather has been good for the past few days even though the weather men keep saying it is going to rain. Here are some cute pictures of her enjoying the park.

Lily's other firsts

In addition to her birthday, Lily had a few other firsts while we were home for spring break:

Her first dog experience (she absolutely loved it);

Easter in Utah!

We went to Utah for Spring Break and we just happened to be there for Easter and Lily's Birthday. It is not her first Easter but it is her first that she has been able to participate. I am sure that if she could talk she would say that it was more for me than it was for her. But I think that is how it is for most things in life.

Lily didn't like coloring the eggs so she decided that she was going to eat them instead.

Lily loves her cousin Baylie. So she went Easter egg hunting with her.
