She's here!

We are excited to welcome Paisley S. Worthen into our family. Paisley was born yesterday (March 10th) at 11:58 pm. She is 19 inches long and weighs 7 lbs. 10 oz (roughly 65% of Lily's birth weight). Both Nicole and Paisley are doing well. Here are a few early pictures; I am sure more will follow.

I think she was happier in the pre-earth life.

Spring Fever!

I have really enjoyed the warm weather the past few days. They other day I decided that I needed to take Lily to the park. She loved it even if there was snow.

Nap time!

Lately I have gone in to check and make sure that Lily is asleep and this is how I find her. She also likes to lay in her closet. Usually she drags everything off of her bed and lays on it, but for some odd reason she decided not to these times.

Lily has had a few first the past few months

Okay I know that I have been slacking on blogging lately, but I have been working on some projects, Lily was sick, and not to mention that I only have internet at night. So needless to say you will be getting a few posts today and some are still to come.

So before Christmas we started to put Lily in a big girl bed. She has done really well and never comes out of her room unless you go get her out. I live the door partly open and I have no idea why, but she will not come out unless someone goes and gets her.

She also had her first hair cut. We just took a little off so that we didn't lose her curl.

We also put her in the snow for the first time. Brock has been dying to do it so the last big snow we had I got her all bundled up and threw her in the snow. She didn't like it too much so she didn't last long.

Lily's Pictures!

I had one of my friend's, raquelwilburphotography.blogspot.com, take some pictures of Lily. She did a great job. Lily was not that cooperative in the beginning, not that she was all that cooperative, but we did manage to get some really cute pictures. Here are some of my favorites.

Happy New Years!

We had a lot of fun on New Year's Eve. We spent the first part of the night with our good friends the Hale's who were here from Chicago. Then we joined Brock's family to ring in the New Year. Although Lily was enjoying her cousin, she did miss her 8 o'clock bedtime, which means that she fell asleep and this is how she rang in the new year.

Lily's Christmas!

This year Lily had no problem at all sitting on Santas lap. Which was a good thing because she did it 3 times. I am not saying that she liked Santa, but when he gives out candy if you sit on his lap, who wouldn't sit on his lap. She did enjoy opening presents. It started out with a bunch of Princess stuff and then she expected everything else to be Cinderella.
