Cookie Monster

Most moms feel bad when they give their kids too much junk to eat. Lily's mom is the opposite. After seeing pictures of Ava (Wilbur) Henry (Larson), and Isabella (Shumway) eating cookies and/or cake, Nicole felt bad that Lily had never really eaten either. So she went out and bought cookies just for Lily (though I'll admit to sneeking a few). We put one in front of her and she quickly became one happy, but messy, baby. I was so proud when she fit the whole thing in her mouth!

Lily's First Major Fall

So we had Lily's first bloody fall the other day. I would say it was on her daddy's time, but he might clam other wise. But either way she ended up bleeding and as you can see a few minutes later it made no difference.

This is what happened. She had seen her dad's cup on the coffee table and decided that she wanted it. So as she graped it she went down and hit her mouth on something and started to cry. Brock picked her up and next thing I know he has blood on him and she has it coming from her mouth. She calmed down once she tasted the blood in her mouth. Apparently we have a vampire on our hands. Brock was shocked that I handled it so well. He thought that I would have a complete come apart. But I held strong.

Lily's new napping position

Lily has been a great sleeper since she came home from the hospital. But, she went through a phase a couple weeks ago where she just wanted to play in her crib. We finally decided to let her wear herself out. She did, then fell asleep sitting up. She's pretty cute.

Lily is a beautiful baby--most of the time. The other day she woke up from her nap looking like this. She'll love this picture when she gets older. Of course her mother would never use it against her. Her dad, well, that's another story.

Here we finally are!

Some of you are probably saying that it is about time. Well it is finally here. We have a blog. It is not going to be to exciting until I actually get the hang of it. But we have started are blogging experience.
